Goodbye to a dog we never knew

This handsome boy was in the Las Cruces shetler, under the Director Dr. Beth Vesco-Mock, for 9 weeks. The employees and volunteers and him out in the yard, played with him, gave him belly rubs and pets and had no trouble with him.

On July 27, 2009 Paul, an employee, said he was agressive towards him and this boy was killed.

After at least 9 weeks of being kept in this very small cage did it finally get to be too much for him? Was any attempt made to determine why he was allegedly aggressive? Could he have been in pain from living under the conditions that exist at the shelter.

Was his death necessary?

  2. So what would you rather have happened? Would you rather the dog had just been euthanised from the beginning? Or you think the shelter should adopt out aggressive dogs and spend all the money they could use to help the animals on a defense attorney when they get sued for adopting a dog that they knew was aggressive?

Speaking of lawsuits, spreading so many lies about the shelter and Dr. Beth is slander, and you'll be lucky if you and your groupies don't get sued for it.

  3. Well, you can't sue for slander based on true facts.

I hope you are getting compensated for your cowardly remarks.

  4. Hmm, on another post you talk about a German Shepard that came in with a broken leg and how nobody treated it, and then the person who actually rescued that dog comes on and says that the dog had an old, already healed break, and yet you say you're not spreading lies? yeah, ok.
